IN ANOTHER WORLD

(may you find peace)

Trapped inside the body of a depressed being

"I flip through pages to look for a few words to describe what I can't
To think for me the thoughts I fear to speak out loud.
Looking for a healing, to go back to believing.
Truth is,We're all running in circles,
Looking for deeper meanings in blank metaphors
Testing how long we can go, till we're insane.
Expecting, believing, getting hurt,
And all of it back , all over again.
Until we give upand go away
Into a universe where we could find peace
          And in which, we may.

Let us sleep and wake up in dreams
like unicorns across rainbows and all the beautiful things that don't exist.
We may find peace in dreams beyond
All the days we collapsed like a worn out building shaken by earthquakes
All our hurtful wounds hitting right where it breaks
And find a new skin that isn't marked by atrocities
And heavy scars that we carry on our shoulders bent down low.
Cut through my heart for I have spentsleepless nights before.
Awoken by a heavy bearing.
But now I shall run into the ocean's lap
Now I shall fly into the sky's wrath
Now I shall sleep,
 peacefully."
